Cherubim Press was established in 2018 for the publication of Orthodox liturgy, theology, spirituality, and history. We started with the publication of the English translation of the Simonopetra Ieratikon and with the idea of publishing more liturgical books, but, due to the support and encouragement of our friends and buyers, we decided to branch out into publishing other types of books.
Yes, we welcome submissions of manuscripts for any of our existing series and also on any topics of Orthodox liturgy, theology, spirituality, and history, but only if the manuscripts are not currently under consideration by any other press. For the process of submission, please refer to the link to "manuscript submission" at the top of this page.
No, we accept submissions based solely on their quality. Submissions are evaluated through blind reviews, irrespective of the faith of their authors. For more information, please refer to the link to "manuscript submission" at the top of this page.
Yes, we welcome such requests, although our commitment to such projects depends on our time constraints. For this process, please refer to our page on "typesetting."
No, we do not have a brick-and-mortar store, although our books may be carried by different stores throughout the United States and abroad, particularly by monastery and church bookstores.
Yes, our website is set up to send out automatic emails to confirm orders and shipments. If you have not received such an automatic email as soon as you have completed your order, please check your spam folder. If these emails are not in your spam folder, please contact us at sales@cherubimpress.com to verify that you typed in your correct email address when you placed your order.
With the exception of pre-sales, we usually ship our orders within 1 or 2 workdays. The only days on which we do not ship are US postal holidays when carriers are themselves closed, Saturdays, Sundays, major Orthodox feasts, and the festal periods of Dec 24-26, Jan 1-2, Holy Thursday through Bright Monday, and Aug 14-16.
We ship worldwide, with very few exceptions (destinations which will not be available during checkout).

Yes, we can help. First, we can pursue other shipping companies and services not offered on the website. Second, we can offer a discount on existing shipment costs. Please email us at info@cherubimpress.com or use the contact form on the website.
All international shipments are insured. Nationally, first-class and ground shipments are not insured and they cannot be replaced if lost; USPS priority mail service and above are insured. In other words, if you wish to guarantee your shipment within US, please select USPS priority shipping or higher services. We cannot guarantee other services.
All international purchases are tracked and insured, as are national purchases with USPS priority and above, but CP cannot assume any responsibility with tracking every package or with filing for reimbursement if the package is lost. CP will assist you, the buyer, with filing the insurance forms. Do keep in mind that a reimbursement must be filed within 30 days of shipment, so please track your order and contact the shipping company identified in your shipment confirmation as soon as it seems to be lost. Then contact us if the shipping company requires information which you do not possess.

Although defective pages are rare (that is, blank or incomplete pages, torn pages, etc.), they do regrettably happen. If you find your book to contain a defective page or section, please send us a request for replacement accompanied by a photo of the misprint at sales@cherubimpress.com. Your purchase will be replaced with a non-defective copy for free, with our apologies.

Yes, we do. Please see the information on wholesale pricing on our main page and contact us through the contact form at your convenience. We can set up a special wholesale discount for you, to use whenever you wish.
Yes, we do, particularly for countries other than US. Often the shipping costs to these countries are prohibitive to our buyers. Our website will list the websites and/or physical locations of our distributors, in order to facilitate access to our books for buyers from that respective country or region.
